Afterbirth+ Custom Challenge Launcher
Make your own challenge runs!
Welcome back!
This is the Afterbirth+ Version of your favorite custom challenge launcher ;-)
FEATURE LIST:
-Choose your character!
-Customize starting HP and consumables
-Choose starting trinket and card/pill/rune
-Choose starting items
-Choose the final stage of your challenge!
-Load/save challenge runs and share them through codes or files
-Disable certain special rooms or even devil and/or angel room!
-Apply permanent curses or disable curses!
-Random run generator
If you find any bugs or you have any suggestions feel free to post them and they might be fixed/included in the next version.
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
Just download the binary and start the .exe file.
Modify anything you want and hit the "Play" Button to start the game.
Choose the "Challenge" menu entry and then hit your "Tab" key to open the custom challenge menu.
Choose your challenge and have fun!
REMARKS:
1) Because of this version of the CCL actually creating real Afterbirth+ mods, ACHIEVEMENTS will be DISABLED!
2) The auto generated mod is located here:
C:/Users//Documents/My Games/Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ Mods/CustomChallenge
3) If you want, you may rename this folder and upload your challenge to the steam workshop!
4) The difficulty settings and the item pool editor had the be removed because with the new modding system it's not that easy to modify those things in AB+. If requested I may put some more work into it and try to make it work.
5) People who use a "non-steam" version:
You may need to put the location of your AB+ installation into the AfterbirthPlusCCLauncherConfig.ini file.

Anyway, I do not have a custom challenge.
Examples:
Treasure rooms and Shops will give a key back upon entering.
Arcade rooms will give a coin back upon entering.
The first time worked without the mod but one day it didn't work anymore. HELP859

I am surprised to see that almost noone talks about the amazing options in the AB version that are not here for this AB+ version.
I mean the add and remove item from the pools option, the amazing option of invert pools, like put the item room pool in the devil deal pool; that was amazing. Where it is ? Will it be updated soon ? Anyway gg for the work
i'm tired of just pure rng to try and get a good run to unlock like 2 items, over and over again
or left from your chosen character.

1. Create the Challenge.
2. Start the game.
3. Go to "Mods"
4. Press "Tab" on the custom challenges mod.
5. Go to Custom Challenges in the challenges page.
6. Enjoy your mod.

Can someone help?
1) In the AF version, there was a item pool editor... Now how can I exclude some items?
2) Maybe add a time limit feature like in SPEED? Then death, damage over time or sort of.
3) How about make a TOT rooms floor? Like 1 room only start and boss... 100 rooms filled with multiple treasure, shops & co...
4) How about a The Hush and Delirium final stage challenge?
5) Is possible to "lock" a certain trinket?

- I'm running Steam version on Win7 with admin rights
- Executing mod as administrator
- Disabled antivirus for testing
- I've created the CustomChallenge folder in the Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ Mods folder and I can see the metadata file has been automatically created
- I've enabled the mod in AB+
- I press the PLAY button on the AB+CCC
I don't understand what I'm missing. There seems to be no definitive answer...
Just put the launcher anywhere you like, start it and create your challenge as you like. then just click "Play". The "Custom Challenge" mod will be auto-generated. In the game menu choose "Challenges" and then hit "Tab" to go to the custom challenge menu. There you can just select the challenge your created and play it.
Does anybody know how to fix this?
is there anything else i need to do?
