When I press download the mod won't download. Something stops and gets rid of it. Help?

I have put the players.xml file in my resources folder, and other folders, reinstalled the game and tried again multiple times.
How can I not do this?
The players.xml gets put into my Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/The Binding of Isaac Rebirth/resources but no matter what I do, nothing changes.

I honestly shouldn't since you're being rude, but I'll help you, or at least tell you how to do it. If this doesn't work, sorry, can't do anything else for you.
You'll need to download and install 7-zip, which is very simple. You can figure that part out on your own I assume.
Install this mod's files, open them with your newly installed 7-zip. Select all of them and extract them. The button to extract the files should be in the top left of the 7-zip application.
Once you've done this, you'll need to move your extracted files into your BoI files. This process will vary depending on your computer type. If you have Windows:
Select all files. Bring them to C: > Program Files > Steam > Steamapps > Common > Binding of Isaac: Rebirth > Resources.

Hey so i just downloaded the file and put it in my resource folder but when i try to run the character editor it comes up with an error message "a java exception has occurred" what can i do to fix it?

Try downloading the JRE or the latest version of Java.

This is really fun i LOVE it it can make you have a gard time whit chalenges

They do as long as the character is correct.
