Sacrifice Rooms Reworked
Useless Sacrifice Rooms No More!
SUPPORT FOR AFTERBIRTH AND REBIRTH!
This mod changes the Sacrifice Rooms into something more useful.
There are 32 new and different Sacrifice Rooms.
All Sacrifice Rooms require you to lose HP, but all of them will reward you acordingly for your losses.
To install, select your game (afterbirth or rebirth) folder, and extract the "rooms" folder inside it to Steam\steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\resources\
I'm trying to make it so when you pick an item (in the 4-5 item rooms) the others disappear. I'm not sure if it's possible, but I'll see what I can do.
Narrow rooms are now in the mod!

KNOWN ISSUE:
After the new patch that added some utility to the Sacrifice Rooms (including the fights against the Angels and teleport to the Dark Room), an issue appeared with the mod:
Each set of spikes has it's "reward counter". For example, the angels are at counter 9. Hurting yourself in different sets on spikes, won't count towards an global counter, but towards a specific counter for each spike set.
So in order to get the rewards as supposed to, you'll need to hurt yourself ALWAYS in the SAME SET OF SPIKES.
This doesn't mean you can't walk through other sets of spikes to get your items from the mod, it just means doing so won't count towards the new Sacrifice Room mechanic added in the last patch.
If you find any room that doesn't allow you to leave it without taking damage, please let me know. Also, if you find any room underwhelming, say something. Your feedback is important!

- Changed most rooms so they would be more fight-friendly, since now you can actually fight monsters there.
- Had to remove a couple of rooms that were impossible to fight in. I'm still figuring out what to do with them.
- KNOWN ISSUE: Since my rooms have multiple sets of spikes (unlike the vanilla ones), the game isn't coded so the hits you take stack with each other. This means that, in order to get the rewards from the mechanic presented last patch, you need to hurt yourself ALWAYS in the SAME SET OF SPIKES.
I made a tutorial how to edit the rooms there.
It also has the links for all the tools needed!
I tried to manually merge the two with Notepad,but I can't seem to identify which rooms are yours. Would you perhaps be willing to give a quick rundown on that so we can try to merge your mod with other special room mods?
These are all the rooms from the mod. Just copy them to the XML and paste them after any .
If you want to delete the original ones, just use CTRL+L (or CTRL+F in notepad++) to look for this line - room type="13" - and delete all the rooms that you find.

If you're using the latest version, the rooms should have a bomb in order to bomb down the door behind you.
That room was reworked in 1.3, you can see in the screenshots, the last one is the reworked room.

Also, just released the fixed version for the sacrifice rooms with enemies!
I used the BR version for Rebirth, since there isn't a Afterbirth version yet. But I manually altered the Afterbirth XML, to include the rooms that I created in the Rebirth file using BR.
