- /!\ IMPORTANT /!\ Make sure to remove any old version of Agony before installign this new one, not doing so WILL cause major issues. Sorry for the inconvenience. :)

Tho rather than afterbirth+, you might wanna consider waiting for repentance then porting it.

So...I used a rar to zip converter because I haven't the slightest clue how to use 7-zip, but when I did that and opened the agony folder...there were no folders inside, just several pngs of already existing items and a READ ME. Did I do something wrong?

I feel like I might be doing something wrong, but I haven't been seeing too much of the new content, aside from 2 new room layouts and some spider web enemies on the first floor. If I haven't done anything wrong, then I would highly suggest adding more, I don't know how to explain this, encounter rates? for the new stuff, other than that, mod is great

It's a nice mod, though in greed mode, sometimes the white dips spawn and it's impossible to kill them there. The main game is still fun to play in your mod.

Starbolt yes this is Afterbirth and rebirth. It also states in the description of the mod that this is both, and he is working on afterbirth+

If anyone wants to know, this kinda does work with AB+. I tried it with Greedier mode and Apollyon. New enemies were in greedier mode and Apollyon worked, but after a while it did crash. I only tried it for about 5 minutes, but it did work as far as I could.

Update, played for about an hour with a couple of mods like the heretic and infinite item charges. The heretic crashed the game after a minute or 3 and infinite item charges works pretty okay, but will still crash but not as often(In 1 hour of gameplay, for me it only crashed twice). Also some tears affects from AB+ might be invisible, but still do damage like the Apple! tears and also some familiars like depression were invisible, but still left a trail of tears. Might try to make the tears and familiars visible, but not sure.

Please tell me you are planning on porting the main features of this mod to Afterbirth+'s new API? It's hard to go back to not playing Isaac with this mod.

This mod STILL doesn't work with Afterbirth sacrifice rooms. I've lost too many opportunities to fight Mega Satan because sacrifice rooms don't spawn angels, which drop the key pieces. It's such a shame because of all the great content, but it's the only reason why I refuse to play Agony of Isaac. Consider patching this bug soon.

Plus, the seed is irrelevant, because it'll happen no matter what, but here it is anyway:

Look for the sacrifice rooms on Womb/Utero I or II - I can't remember - and one on the Cathedral.

As for screenshots, don't know what there is to see. Not having Afterbirth sacrifice room effects is something that *doesn't* happen.

I had an error when fighting this centipede boss I don't know what its called because it said it was the dark one. Is that just an unchanged file or a bug? The seed is TGJ2 N0VW.

I have seen 1 new enemy but nothing else. This mod is lacking a bit.(Or i just haven't gotten far enough to notice)

I was expecting a complete overhaul, but the game looked mostly like the original. I saw 1 new boss and a few new enemies/rooms. Will keep playing, see how it goes.

Been playing with this mod for nearly a day now. I absolutely love it, and the challenges it adds. The Eternal enemies from the original Binding of Isaac's free DLC are an awesome touch too!

It depends how you install it. Depending on what mods you have installed, you might run into a problem where there are folders that have the same names from the mods. If this happens, just move the files from one of the folders into the other folder so that it has the files from both folders, and you should be fine. I will say, do NOT just keep both of the folders in the resources folder with one of them saying (folder name here)1 or (folder name here)2. If there are multiple files with the same name, unless you are really good at modding and can edit the files so that it is making both mods work, then you are out of luck.

Bug Report -
Playing as Lilith. Basement II.
Seed: DZDG P1YM
Bug: Cannot progress from Basement II to Caves I. I have never had an issue with this mod before this and I've been playing it for a couple days, and in those days have had plenty of runs. My character jumps into the trap-door, and I get the pop-up error: 'isaac-ng.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.'
I haven't done any game breaking (this run). The boss for Basement II was Monstro.

rar is just a compression thing. get 7zip or winrar, something like that, to uncompress and use the mod. elsewise, everything would just be really tiny >.>

Nice mod, but it's a bit simplistic. Edited starting characters would be nice, and re-textured floors. But I love this mod and all the new challenges it has set for me

Well, its purpose is to add new enemies and rooms, not to be complete overhaul. Plus you can use it to make your own mods under certain conditions (FAQ) so that would probably interfere.

Drop the "resources" folder for the appropriate version into your game folder (%SteamRoot%\SteamApps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\) and you're good to go!

Mabye the porblem can be fixed by first extracting the mod then copy n' pasting the contents of the extracted folder and putting them in the resources folder of The Binding of Isaac. (Resources folder on help)
