The Vagueness of Isaac
Makes the game a bit more mysterious
Created 10 years ago
This is a small mod I created to challenge myself, to see just how much of Isaac I really knew. What it does is quite simple: all items (Collectables, Pills, Trinkets, ect.) have had their descriptions changed to make things a bit more entertaining, and as a side effect, more vague. Along with the items, the level names (Basement, Cellar, ect.) Have also been changed a bit, along with an optional semi-vague pause screen. Keep in mind, only MOST of the descriptions are more vague than before. Some give little hints as to what the item does, and some haven't been changed at all. So if you were expecting a mod that totally gets rid of the meaning of "item description," then this mod will not deliver. However, if you are willing to test yourself and your knowledge of Isaac (and more?), then I implore you to check this out.

Also, if you download this mod and find any typos, please detail the exact item in the comments below. I can't do this all on my own, sometimes you gotta have a higher power come at you.

!!!SUPER DUPER IMPORTANT REPORT!!!
I know most of you probably don't care about this, but to celebrate 10 whole hearts (wow!) I would like to announce that I am thinking heavily about making a sequel for this for Afterbirth. Hooray! It isn't in development just yet, and probs won't be until I actually discover most of the items Afterbirth has to offer. To think, almost around 4 months and I'm still discovering new things!
Anyway, I hope people get semi-hyped about this, because I know that I most certainly am looking forward to spending about an hour or two changing item descriptions, pill and card descriptions, and I might even try to redo the whole thing with the vague level names as well. Dunno what else I could change about that, but it's up there! See ya when I get a better grip on Afterbirth!
you used my mod!! next time put my name for credit D:
Sorry about that, it's updated right now to clear some stuff up.
Perfect to prank someone new to the game.
I feel like it would be a better prank towards someone who's finally just getting the hang of Isaac. You can't throw someone off the edge if they are already at the bottom.
True... time to test my best friend! >
wait is that a facebook... book?
