To make this mod I translated a large amount of the text I could find in the files about a dozen times using Google.
This was inspired by the famous poorly translated mods for the Dark Souls games.

What text exactly does this change?
- Item, trinket & pickup names
- Item, trinket & pickup flavor text
- Enemy names (in the bestiary)
- Floor names
- Curse names
- Fortunes & rules (think fortune machine and rule card popup text)

Unfortunately character names, menu text, challenge names and text in boss intro screens can only be changed by editing images in the game files. Doing this would take a lot of time and I'm not ready to commit to something like that!
BUT if YOU are willing to do it then I will gladly let you contribute to this mod! Just let me know.

Some other text I felt just wasn't worth translating since it wouldn't make a big impact anyway.


How to install:
(Because "regular" mods aren't enabled in Repentance yet, for now you have to do it in a slightly more roundabout way)
- First run the unpacking tool in the game's install directory (Usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\tools\ResourceExtractor\ResourceExtractor.exe)
- Extract the downloaded zip file in the folder where the game's executable is found (steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth). This should overwrite some files in the resources folders
- Rename the folder "packed" inside the resources folder to something else. This will prevent the game from loading it, forcing it to load the extracted files along with the mod instead!


To "uninstall" the mod, you can simply change the name of the packed folder back to its original name.
And if you care about cleaning up, delete all of the files that were extracted with the tool or replaced by the mod.
