And here comes the chain of purposefully shitty looking mods, because of aferberts. Similar to the potato salad kickstarter, people think that they will be successful because of a previous shitty mod. Making other shitty mods because a successful shitty mod, does not mean that your shitty mod will be successful. The first one is funny, all the rest are desperate and stupid.
Although, I cannot report this mod, because although being shitty, it is original. Just. This is my theory on aferberts and shitty visual changes like this.

there have been shitty mods from the dawn of time. aferberts just became popular for some reason and now people like you are noticing these mods. it's up to the player to decide if they want to download it anyway, and not the creator to decide if it gets popular.

Incorrect. I am here to criticize the mods that deserve to be criticized. If you take a look at any good recent mods, I will compliment them. Simply because you see me on a shitty mod, saying it is a shitty mod, does not mean I am on this site just to call mods shitty. I want to keep the site.. clean in a sense. The reason you see me criticizing mods so often, is that there seem to be more bad mods than there are good.

I've gotten 15 mods removed, so don't even bring that up. I'm so quick to notice them, that people like you aren't there fast enough to start arguments. I've reported probably 19 mods, and it's mods like this the Infinity Item mod that miraculously don't get deleted.

Again. I compliment mods that I personally think are good. Furthermore, I generally don't compliment the big mods, because I compliment mods that need the motivation to get bigger.

If it helps, I actually took your criticism into account, and I've halted all progress on the mod and focused on bigger projects, because yes, while it WAS my first mod, I do have to admit it wasn't that stellar.

Yeah... Aferberts, at least, has something of a thematic point to it (though IMO it gives up on its own theme halfway through with the JPG stuff, kinda halfassy). This... is just a batch process done over the collection of sprites.
