A full graphical overhaul

One day, as Isaac descends to the basement once again, he notices that things are... off.
Everything looks like his drawings or even like a JPEG compression gone wrong.
This mod gives the entire game a new, interesting style. Almost every sprite has been redrawn by hand, some have been converted to JPEGS and the music now pierces your eardrums with bad midis.
...also, you might not recognize items by their name anymore.
Warning: This mod might hurt your eyes, ears or cause seizures. Not sure. It didn't happen to me during my intense testing sessions.

The wonderful music was made by jerbear64!
The insane announcer was voiced by Wüane!
The hand-dra... uuuh... mouth-spoken sounds were made by yuunohu and are part of his Voice of God mod:

seriously though, the game is still good with these graphics (in fact it's better)... proving once and for all that the graphics don't make the game
but it's the same game with worse graphics and the game plays just as well
the mod is a deep, meaningful message about graphics and how they don't need to be good
...or maybe it's just something silly, but the art critic in me disagrees with that
