This is a mod that gives the player more item options on boss fights, item rooms, devil deals, angel rooms, curse rooms, etc... The mod also adds Over 200 new room layouts. This mod ensured me Many hours of fun!

Tools you're gonna need:
-Basement Renovator
-Basic, really, really basic coding knowledge
-A character editor
-Rick's unpacker
-A shit ton of time
----------How to get started?------
You have to get an idea, you have to know what you're gonna make and why, you have to make sure nobody has made it before And if someone already made it, try thinking of something else that could make it different, or ask them permission (in case you're gonna make something like updating it)

Then you have to start working, Editing challenges & characters starting items are probably the best place to start, make something for yourself (like the mod you already made) and then, upgrade it, make it better, after that, grab a lot of confidence and publish it, then, cross your fingers and hope for the best.
-----------Tips---------
The community here isnt looking for a mod that makes stuff "fair" the community is only looking for something that makes them "powerfull" if you make a mod that makes everything easier, you're gonna get downloads, easy. If you make a mod that's gonna make everything harder, you will have to struggle to get to the first 10 or 100 downloads. The seal of approval is key to get downloads, if you dont have the seal, you're really unlikely to get more downloads, if you dont get downloads, you're really unlikely to get the seal of approval (Its a painful loop)
When you're in that loop you're gonna have a really hard time getting out of there, you're probably gonna have to go to the Steam group of the website and ask respectfully for a mod to give you the seal (Its actually a good way to get it)
