Features


This mod removes Boss Rooms and Treasure Rooms pedestals, letting you instead choose from a random selection of items at the beginning of each floor.
Treasure Rooms will now give you a random pickup (key, coin, bomb or chest), random chests or an I Am Error statue and 1 or 2 eternal hearts.

The number of items you will get to pick from depends on the floor and the difficulty:
Normal difficulty:
- Basement 1 & 2, Caves 1 & 2 and Depth 1 = 5 items.
- Depth 2 and Womb 1 = 3 items.

Hard difficulty:
- Basement 1 & 2 = 5 items.
- Caves 1 & 2 = 4 items.
- Depth 1 = 3 items.
- Depth 2 and Womb 1 = 2 items.

These numbers are entirely customizable, by simply editing the itemdraft_config.lua file.
In the end you will get fewer items than in an unmodded run, but this should be balanced out by the choices you can make.

This mod doesn't support multiple save files yet, so I recommend you only play it one run at a time.

- Renamed the required lua files to avoid conflicts with other mods.

- Took out the logging module.

- Lowered the chance for eternal to appear in item rooms and added more consumable spawns instead.

- Fixed the bug where the spawn room doors would quickly close and reopen everytime the player reentered the room if he had voided the items.

- Made the item rooms a bit more attractive by removing the reward button, adding a higher chance to get a random chest, and 2 eternal hearts instead of nothing.

- Made some changes to the logging module.

- Fixed items not being removed after the player rerolled them (D6, etc) and exited the game.

- On XL floors: Fixed 2nd batch of items not spawning when using Void, Black Card or crooked penny on the 1st batch.

- On XL floors: Fixed 2nd batch of items being removed instantly upon spawning.

- Fixed doors not opening when using black card / crooked penny / void.

- Fixed the delay before removing the remaining items that could allow some exploits.

- Added support for item duplication (diplopia, crooked penny)

is it possible to make an afterbirth version
To be honest that is highly unlikely. I just started modding on Afterbirth+ and I won't have enough time to learn how to port it for Afterbirth, if at all possible.
i get it. nice mod btw. i saw it on playcrastination's channel. i also started modding, but on afterbirth.
it didnt work for me and i dont know if i installed it wrong or if its the mod
For the installation, just make sure you extracted the archive in "C:\Users\[...]\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ Mods". It should be named "item draft_903838017" and directly contain a resource folder and some lua / xml / txt files.
If that step is ok, then make sure the mod appears in Isaac's Mod menu and that it's activated.
Then if it still doesn't work we'll see.
Is there a way Config it so that the pedestal from item rooma nd boss rooms till appear??
Well, if look into the mod it shouldn't be too difficult, but that's not my goal here. The point is to offer an alternative way of playing, not add more items to your run.
