EDIT: Hold that thought, I somehow just picked up a soul heart...
First of all, the whole concept with the switcharoo of enemies is great, and I like that keys have an important role. Maybe you could have bombs and coins matter more as well? I ended up with 99 of each by Depths x.
All the boss rooms are so scummy... which I adore. The plan where if you missed Boss Rush and needed the two key pieces, a brilliant plan to make you respawn as BB in The Chest and picking up Empty Vessel (even though I realised that too late, and rerolled all the items with my Dice Shard lol). I feel though that The Chest was a breeze, since all bosses in the rooms switched to mostly regular enemies. Would it be possible to have them switch into a random boss instead?
I could write more but I'll just say it was a really fun mod to try out.
